Comedian Lee Mack struck the winning penalty in a shoot-out following a 2-2 draw at the London Stadium, clinching a fourth successive victory for the World XI
Soccer Aid is coming to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park! (And it promises to be the best Soccer Aid yet).
Usain Bolt makes his return as captain of the Soccer Aid World XI team, competing at the London Stadium ten years on from his gold medal heroics at London 2012.
One Direction singer Liam Payne will captain the England team. He will be joined by Lucien Laviscount (Emily in Paris) and comedian Alex Brooker.
Tom Grennan, Chunkz and Martin Compston will lace up their boots once again to play alongside footballing legends Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Fara Williams Joe Cole and Patrice Evra.
Harry Redknapp, the winning manager of the last three Soccer Aid matches (as manager of the rest of the world) - has switched sides to manage the 3 Lions. Harry says, “I know England can finally win”.
And incredibly, as an added bonus, Robbie Williams has agreed to sing his hit single Angels for the first time in a long time.
This is an unmissable experience and of course, all proceeds go to charity; money raised from this year’s game helps UNICEF provide vaccines, fight malnutrition and provide safety for children.
